Optional activities such as pickleball upgrades, Rong May Glass Bridge, and the Ban Mong alpine coaster are not included and will be charged separately.

What to Bring

Guests are advised to prepare comfortable, lightweight clothing for Hanoi, along with warmer layers for Sapa’s cooler mountain climate, especially in the early morning and evening. A light jacket, sweater, or windbreaker is highly recommended, particularly for visits to Fansipan Peak where temperatures can be significantly lower and weather conditions may change quickly. Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are essential, as the itinerary includes village walks, sightseeing, and time spent on uneven paths, stairs, and sloped terrain.

For guests who plan to join the included or optional pickleball sessions, bringing personal pickleball paddles is welcome. Alternatively, paddles can be rented or purchased locally in Vietnam, and assistance will be provided if needed. Sportswear, a small towel, and an extra change of clothes are recommended for pickleball activities. Guests should also bring a hat, sunscreen, personal medication if needed, a reusable water bottle, and a small backpack for daily excursions. Some cash is advisable for optional experiences, handicraft shopping, and personal expenses.

Note for Muslim Guests

For Muslim travelers, Halal-friendly arrangements can be provided throughout the program upon advance request. Halal meals will be arranged at selected Halal-certified restaurants in Hanoi whenever available. In Sapa, where Halal dining options are limited, suitable alternatives such as seafood or vegetarian meals can be arranged to meet dietary requirements. Visits to Muslim-owned shops can be arranged in Hanoi if requested. Prayer time considerations can be accommodated, and assistance can be provided to identify nearby mosques or suitable prayer spaces when possible. Our team is committed to ensuring a comfortable, respectful, and seamless travel experience for Muslim guests throughout the Kitchen KMG journey in Northern Vietnam.
