Entering for the wrong purpose (DL visa without sponsorship), incorrect visa information, overstaying (leading to fines or entry bans), visa rejection due to insufficient funds, and problems arising from lost passports/documents abroad or legal violations (such as using a fake visa, deportation).

1. Errors in information and documents

• Personal errors: Incorrect name, date of birth, gender, or passport number compared to the information on the passport.

• Passport: Expired or with less than 6 months remaining, damaged, torn, illegible numbers, or not a valid ordinary passport.

• Missing documents: Insufficient documents proving purpose of entry (itinerary, invitation letter), or inability to prove financial means.

• Duplicate submissions: Submitting multiple applications at the same time may result in the application being "pending" and the processing of the application being delayed.

2. Image Errors

• Portrait Photo: Blurred image, non-white background, includes glasses, face not clearly visible, or photo taken too long ago (more than 6 months).

• Passport Photo: Photo of the passport information page is unclear, cropped, or blurry.

• Format/Size: File is not .jpg/.png or exceeds 2MB.

3. Technical and System Errors

• Not received email: Confirmation email was moved to Spam/Promotions folder, or the email address was entered incorrectly.

• Application pending: Application processing is slower than 3-5 business days; contact the relevant authorities for verification.

• Unable to download PDF file: Error due to browser or network; change browser/check software.

4. Errors regarding purpose and regulations

• Unclear purpose of entry: No detailed itinerary, no invitation letter (if required).

• Law violations: Previous violations of Vietnamese immigration regulations, use of counterfeit visas, or acts endangering security.

How to proceed =>

• Check carefully: Always double-check all information and images before submitting.

• Use the application code: Use the application code (Reference code) to check the status and results on the E-visa portal.

• Contact support: If your application is pending or has problems, contact support services (if available) or the immigration authority.

• Request a replacement: If you discover an error on a previously issued visa, you must apply for a new visa; you are not allowed to use a visa with incorrect information.
